lyrics

You talk too much
Do you ever stop?
The words keep flowing out, I want to turn them off
They're drops of water on my forehead.
They collect like glistening beads on my blank paper skin, and the ink starts to bleed...
They're dripping a dent into my confidence
They're dripping a dent into my consciousness

When I leave you my hair smells like smoke
My mouth is full of the words I never spoke
Cause you were talking, saying nothing, cause you just don't care
You were talking, saying nothing, filling up the air

I think too much,
I always will.
I want to know what's on your mind, especially when you're still.
But you will never let me inside.
All your words are cold and they're empty, I don't want to hear them, they'll only upset me.
They're dripping a dent into my confidence
They're dripping a dent into my consciousness

When I leave you my hair smells like smoke
My mouth is full of the words I never spoke
Cause you were talking, saying nothing, cause you just don't care
You were talking, saying nothing, filling up the air
